The Neo-Sat Belay Device is a modified "tube" style belay device. A slightly larger opening allows easier setup when you "bite" the rope and smoother belay. The ribbed grooves offer increased friction and lock-off for belaying and rappelling.

So far we haven't had any issues with the gear. It seems to be holding up pretty well. We have only used them for roughly 18 climbs on each one, and they seem to be doing well.
