This Fusion Climb FP-8020-K-SILRED is an auto-locking, straight gate aluminum carabiner designed with a captive eye. Made from a highly durable Aluminum, finished with an anodized process. The Anodizing finish increases the resistance to corrosion and wear, making for an exceptionally durable finish. The smooth key nose gate allows for a snag-free use while clipping or unclipping due to the lack of a notch at the nose of the carabiner. This allows for easy tie ins and prevents wear on ropes and harnesses. Equipped with a captive eye to prevent cross loading. Captive eye connectors give fixed connectors that are almost impossible to misalign when in use. The type of gate a carabiner has makes a big difference in what the carabiner should be used for. This carabiner is equipped with an auto-locking feature which uses an internal spring mechanism to not only close the carabiner, but also lock the carabiner as soon as the gate is released. The user can then twist the sleeve to unlock and open the carabiner. Meets ANSI Z 359.2 standards.
